MOSCOW, Mar 14 (PRIME) -- Utair has registered in Russia 50 out of 59 of its jets and has withdrawn the rest from use, the company said in a statement on Monday.
"We started to take the jets to the Russian register last year, and by today have finished the transfer of the entire fleet including long-haul wide-bodied Boeing 767 planes. The available fleet of 50 jets is sufficient for uninterrupted service for our passengers and customers," President of Utair Passenger Airlines Oleg Semyonov said.
The airline received notification about suspension of the airworthiness certificates from the Bermuda Islands' aviation authorities and stopped the flights on the jets. The entire fleet used under the operating leasing terms, nine Boeing 737NGs, were withdrawn from use.
